01 the 定冠词（definite article）// 那个、那些
（1）语音规则：辅音前读 /ðə/ the USA （ju: 开头）
元音前读 /ðɪ/ the apple （æ 开头）
（2）深度解读： the视为that或those的弱化，具有指示作用，用于特指，就是特定提到那 个，单复数概念均可。
所谓的指示作用和特指，也就是说在我们的日常交流中，在具 体的语境中，加了the的名词，一定是在语境中的各方都明确知道的事物。
例a：Please give me the apple. 双方都知道是哪个苹果。
. 例b：In 1990，I was working in a company. The company is from China.
company第1次出现时为泛指，第2次出现时为特指。
（3）忌重复原则之替代： that或those可与the替换，以免重复。
（4）扩展知识： 形容词的最高级前是否必须加the
例：① The story is most interesting. 这个故事很有趣。
② This is the most interesting story of all. 这是所有故事中最有趣的那个故事。
判断依据:是否加the取决于是否具有指示作用；上例中第1句不需要指示性，故不加；第2句具有指示性，所以要加。
（5） 常见搭配： the same time 前① + 前② + 中 // 同时
the world 前① + 中 // 世界
the other side 前① + 前② + 中 // 另一边(面）
